  1. The floppy disk, once a staple of modern technology, is now a thing of the past. I can’t remember the last time I even seen I computer with a floppy disk drive. Modern technology has come so far that this once crucial piece of data storage is now utterly obsolete. I find it interesting how a floppy disk was able to hold a few word documents or a couple of pictures, while the jump drives of today can hold so much more and are so much smaller in size.
